About Archis Basangar
As the son of an entrepreneur, I developed an early fascination for business, starting my own cartoon sticker venture in 4th grade to fund extra snacks. This small venture taught me valuable lessons in management and customer service. After completing my MBA from IIM Ranchi, I have been working at C-DOT, a government R&D Centre, where I continue to apply and expand my skills. My passion for research and entrepreneurship is reflected in my patented idea on mass hydrogen production from the ocean, developed alongside an engineering colleague.Prior to this, I worked as a graduate trainee with an Indian car brand, gaining hands-on experience in diverse projects that shaped my career path. During MBA internships, I contributed to valuation strategies, due diligence, market research, and explored investment opportunities in Southeast Asia for venture capital funds. Now, at C-DOT, my goal is to be a versatile management professional who embraces continuous learning and innovative thinking to lead and create impact across industries.
