I work as a kitchen assistant in a gastro-pub in Minchinhampton. My role is mainly centered around cleaning and organizing the kitchen, but I also help prepare food. The shifts are often up to ten hours and can be incredibly busy and when that is the case I often have to work under considerable pressure and need to manage my time effectively. Furthermore, in a fast-paced kitchen environment it is essential to be a strong communicator and keeping a level head and maintaining good contact with the chefs and servers helps to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
ABOUT ARCHIE DOWIE
I’m a third-year Law student at the University of Liverpool, studying Corporate, Criminal and Sports Law, with a key interest in Medical Law. I’m passionate about exploring how legal principles shape work in practice, and how the application of medical law translates to Clinical Negligence Practice. Alongside my studies, I’m eager to gain hands-on legal experience, develop my commercial awareness, and build the skills needed for a successful career in law.
