All activities relate to manufacturing operations.Detailed Function• Assists Senior Financial Analyst in their duties and responsibilities.• Plans studies and collects data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and expenses.• Analyzes data obtained and records results.• Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.• Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs.• Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures.• Analyzes audits of costs and prepares reports for month\'s end.• Compiles cost information for operating budget preparation.• Makes estimates of new and proposed product or service costs.• Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.• Develops and installs cost accounting and inventory systems.• Maintains Fix Assets and monitors Capital Projects.• Monitors costs associated with outside converters and provides updated reports.• Conducts inventory counts and maintains the perpetual inventory system.• Processes accounts payable in relation to the raw material.• Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.• Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing plans (future) and forecasts.• Makes recommendations regarding cost-saving or profit-generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.• Assists the organization\'s controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.
