ABOUT ARCHIBALD COOTE

I am a driven and team-focused student with a passion for learning more about finance. In my engineering and master\'s program, I focus on efficiency, productivity, and quality to ensure the best results in my work. My curiosity in investments at a young age, paired with my engineering background, makes me an optimal candidate for finance-related careers. From learning about DCF models to FP & A, I am constantly learning more about the instruments used in finance. Some key traits that define me are:Analytical- Perform quantitative analysis and critical thinking through Python, R, and Wall Street Prep programs- Using API Tokens to gather market data for my value analysis of different companies through Python.Team player- Overhauled Opening/Closing procedures by re-formatting side-work duties based on clock-in times and assigned according to appropriate duty timing; resulted in a 20-minute decrease in unpaid work for staff and more efficient side-work processes while working at Carrabba\'s Italian Grill, owned by Bloomin\' Brands- Assisted and taught proper OSHA regulations to new employees while employed at Level Up RoofingLeadership- Led Eagle Scout project in developing and distributing an irrigation rain collector for Wunderlich Farms- Coordinated with underlying staff about budgeting and scheduling as the head lifeguard for the GWF association- Delegated tasks during Mechanical Engineering design class as team leader. Included a semester-long project for the elderly in which we were responsible for sketch-up designs, prototypes, and final presentations.
