Hi! I\'m Archana, someone who loves bridging science and computation.To me, one of the most powerful tools in science is communication, more specifically, effective scientific communication. I believe there’s real beauty in being able to communicate data clearly, whether it’s to internal wet lab scientists or external stakeholders. When you can show what the numbers truly represent, you can inspire the next big step, from refining an experiment at the bench to helping secure a grant that funds the discovery of biomarkers for stroke. In my current role as a Bioinformatics Associate at Zymo Research, I get to do exactly that. I build robust, automated, and reproducible pipelines using Nextflow and Docker, so I can focus on what really matters which is interpreting the biology behind the data and communicating those insights effectively.I also design R Shiny dashboards with solid data architecture and secure deployment using ShinyProxy because nothing beats visualization when it comes to bringing data to life and honestly, what’s cooler than a dashboard that’s both beautiful and secure?I strive every day to communicate science efficiently and clearly to turn complex data into stories that inform, inspire, and innovate. Whether it’s building the software behind Pangea’s Bladder CARE (an FDA Breakthrough Device Designation diagnostic) or developing intuitive GUI applications, I aim to make data accessible and impactful.I thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, and I’m always ready to adapt, learn, and grow because effective communication, just like science, is built to evolve.
