Curious and impact-oriented multimedia journalist specializing in audience engagement, digital storytelling and longform reporting. Experienced in breaking news, investigative reporting, social strategy and broadcast production. Covered local politics, community impact and national policy from California’s Central Coast. Served as reporter, social media manager and now editor-in-chief of Mustang News, leading a 200-person newsroom across platforms. Skilled in writing, editing, producing for digital, video and social formats. Looking to pursue a career in political reporting, digital strategy or audience-focused journalism-Hi there! I\'m Archana Pisupati, a journalist with a passion for national storytelling and creating news that connects. I\'m a journalism senior at Cal Poly SLO, specializing in audience and digital media. Last year, I tripled the average impressions on @cpmustangnews through my social strategy and won first place for social media reporting at CCMA. Currently, I serve as the Editor in Chief of Mustang News, Cal Poly\'s award-winning student publication. I lead a dynamic team and produce engaging multimedia content. I’ve been a reporter, a social media manager and now an editorial leader, which means I understand what it takes to not only inform but build trust with audiences at every step. Beyond the newsroom, you\'ll find me chasing artisan coffee, playing with fonts, annotating a podcast transcript or jotting notes into my Moleskine with a honey lavender oat milk latte in hand.
