Within CFAO Healthcare division, I manage and lead an amazing team of two senior Architects, together we are in charge of Design & Construction Management of the company’s property portfolio- The Customer : Leader in pharmaceutical distribution in Africa & French Departments overseas: 40+ subsidiaries. Pharmaceutical logistic platforms (wholesale and picking) with administration offices- The Projects: New building, extension, refurbishment, FF & E, repairs and maintenance- The Stakeholders: Project Scope: Subsidiary, Operations, Corporate Management, Financial, Legal, IT, HSE, Insurance. Procurement - Outsource local teams of Architect, PMO, Engineering consultant (Structural, MEP, HVAC), Contractor, Risk consultant, Experts. Coordinate stakeholders and support cross-department work, from project definition to project commissioning. Follow up during defect liability period- The Scope of work - includes, but not limited to: Studies prior to land acquisition, preliminary studies for new constructions, Design, construction administration, contract supervision, change request management, project closing and Lessons Learned. Draft RFP’s, set internal guidelines and templates to ensure smooth and cost-efficient Project Management- Internal Studies: Develop preliminary studies in close collaboration with Operations Dpt based on business case. We materialize the data throughout Design and Construction phases, from Supply Chain layout to the end of the Project lifecycle. Benchmark costs and schedule for all construction projects. Attend Middle Term Plan and participate in CAPEX definition meetings. Prioritize and set provisional schedule and costs accordingly- The Reporting: Periodic Communication on project advancement based on Quality, Cost and Time KPI’s, Risk register updates and Change Orders- The Team: Continuous improvement, brainstorming, collective problem solving, specific training, skills development, lessons learned, wellbeing- The tools: Autocad LT, Sketchup PRO, Photoshop, MS Office suite and MS Project, hand drawing. PMP trained.
