ABOUT RAMIS ARBI
My recent research involves tailor-made templated metallic and dielectric nanoparticles targeted for applications involving energy generation, energy storage, light emission, catalysis and photonics. My experience involves various characterization techniques, for the visualization of nanostructures and the measurement of their electrical, optical and magnetic properties, and fabrication techniques, including vacuum deposition, solvo-thermal growth and electro-deposition. I am comfortable working with material properties and analysis targeting an application. Beyond nanostructures, I have also worked with polymers and ceramics in terms of fabrication, strength and failure analysis.
