For more than 20 years, I have served as a technologist specializing in developing and executing systems that deploy thousands of displays of sophisticated devices in retail stores. I have worked with many of the top brands and retailers in the world including Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Target, Walmart, Phillips and Home Depot. I specialize in managing technology, developing processes, identifying deficiencies, and building teams that enable manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to successfully place high-tech equipment on retail store shelves in an efficient, attractive, and user-friendly way. I oversee all aspects of the user experience, from the design of a display to how a product is presented, demonstrated, handled, and, ultimately, leading to the consumer purchase. I began my career as a software engineer and have had a broad array of consulting experiences that built upon my strong educational background which includes Bachelor\'s Degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Art History from Rice University and a Master’s Degree in Media Arts and Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Beyond my overall skills in developing system architecture, I also specialize in identifying key drivers, and defining and improving business processes. I have a strong penchant for sniffing out inefficiencies and understanding how the retail environment can impact the broad deployment of technology. I have built a strong reputation for making sure that the technology that we offer works, that we deliver on our promises, and that our clients and vendors are always integrated and well informed about our strategies and tactics.While the process of deploying thousands of unattended devices into harsh environments is paramount, I have also learned that reporting and analytics are equally important. I have been instrumental in developing systems that enable our partners to analyze data and better understand how their products are being viewed, demonstrated, and sold at top retailers. The unattended customer display represents a critical last mile for retailers, and it is always my goal to make this critical final step as smooth as possible.
