Summary & Learnings:As the first AI hire at Actalyst, I led the development of AI-driven automation products from scratch. This role deepened my expertise in LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and deploying multi-modal language models. I built core systems and deployed features used by thousands of enterprise users. Built an end-to-end AI agentic workflow to scrape, extract, financial KPIs from public company reports using intelligent web scraping and LLMs. Developed editable dashboards via a full-stack app (Python, Postgres, React, Docker, ECS,). Built complete backend (Python, Postgres, Docker) and AI agents for an LLM driven business insights engine, involving structured, unstructured (internal, external) and web search data to automate critical Business review presentations (including charts) Architected and scaled a multi-source RAG backend supporting queries across internal and external data (structured, unstructured, web search) with semantic context retrieval; served as the backbone of Actalyst’s core product for enterprise knowledge access including displaying relevant images for the question. Designed a email-to-insights pipeline using AWS SES, S3, and Lambda to ingest daily Excel reports and generate contextual insights using prompt-engineering. Built a vision-model-based OCR pipeline for a chat with document application to support accurate document parsing and long-form summarization across PDFs, images, and slides. Fine-tuned LLaMa and Mistral LLMs with LoRA and quantization techniques to create compact, domain-specific models optimized for improving accuracy of domain specific SQL queries.
