ABOUT ARAVIND SANTHOSH

I\'m Aravind Santhosh, a Motorsport Engineering postgraduate from Brunel University, London, with a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering Currently, I serve as a Trackside Engineer at Fortescue Zero formerly Williams Advanced Engineering, where I support trackside engineering activities at ABB FIA Formula E. My past roles include Systems Engineer at Aston Martin Lagonda, where I supported the EOL production process of the Aston Martin Valkyrie in the manufacturing department. I also worked with McLaren Automotive Ltd as an EOL Technician and Production Team Member. My experience as an automotive technician spans over two years in both India and the UK.My work and postgraduate studies have equipped me with comprehensive practical and theoretical knowledge in areas such as IC-engines, hybrid-engines, HV battery systems, transmissions, suspensions, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems.My involvement in Formula Student car development has further enriched my knowledge of the motorsport environment. During the design, development, and production of the FS car, I gained a deeper understanding of race car fundamentals. I have also completed a certified course in Performance Engineering of Formula One cars from Motorsport Academy, enhancing my understanding of race cars.I am proficient in CAD, CFD, and simulation tools, including GT-Suite, CATIA V5, Solidworks, Ansys, Etas INCA/MDA, MATLAB/Simulink, MotecI2Pro, ATLAS, System Monitor, Wintax, and CANalyzer.
