ABOUT ARATI PATWARDHAN

As a senior executive with over 24 years of experience, I thrive at the intersection of possibility, strategy and performance. My career began with Marriott and Accenture in India, where I was part of the earliest HR teams creating the foundations for the explosive growth that followed—designing and implementing talent management systems, on-boarding experiences, rewards and recognition programs, leadership induction, soft skills training frameworks for CMM 4 & 5, launching new properties and integrating acquired companies.At Willis Towers Watson, I shaped how organizations within India and South East Asia attract, engage, and grow talent creating talent management frameworks, performance-linked pay models and industry-wide compensation studies. Through my own consulting firm, School of Light, I worked directly with promoters and CEOs across 21 industries, co-creating business strategy and building people programs that keep all subsets aligned with organizational goals by design.Today, as of CHRO of Rochem, I drive HR agenda and also contribute to the incubation of new businesses spanning CBG, Carbon Capture, EPC, Industrial Design and other emerging ventures. In the strategy role my mandate is to ensure each venture moves from concept to commercial success while remaining true to the group’s broader sustainability and industrial transformation ambition.With a deep understanding of the forces reshaping business, I enable leaders to invest beyond the immediate: to choose the right adjacencies, build distinctive moat, design for ease and keep entire ecosystems aligned over the long term. I am passionate about Healthtech and Cleantech, sectors where ability to align foresight with execution creates impact that truly lasts.
