As Safety and Quality Coordinator, I support field execution teams by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards on construction projects such as Union Station, St. Michael\'s Hospital and Scotiabank Arena.Respondsibilities- Lead the creation of site specific safety documentation including JHAs, risk assessments, maintenance and inspection forms- Coordinate and support field execution of mechanical installations such as HVAC, fire protection, refrigeration, and piping systems- Prepare quality documentation including checklists, ITPs, inspection forms, testing checklists, and maintenance logs- Manage document control of all technical, quality, and safety documentation to maintain compliance and for easy accessibility- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, foremen, and clients to plan and sequence work safely and efficiently- Support quality assurance by reviewing project quality plans, ITPs, and verifying conformance through field inspections- Lead initiatives such as safety walks, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement of safety culture on site
