About Arash Dehzangi

My research is mainly focused on semiconductor device physics/processing, quantum devices and quantum sensing, nanoelectronics, photonics and optoelectronics with the background of solid-state physics and electrical engineering. For years, I have worked on fabrication of Si based nanostructures, using unconventional method of scanning probe microscopy (SPM) nanolithography. I worked on InGaAs/GaAs based nanostructure and MOSFET/ HEMT devices. I explored deeply in application of and II-VI material system for solid state electronics based devices and infrared photodetectors. Quantum devices based on band structure engineering, and epitaxial growth techniques were my major research. I worked on different research projects for design and performing novel optoelectronic semiconductor devices and photonic structures. I worked in different research projects for design and performing novel semiconductor devices for quantum sensing and imaging systems. I worked in industry with different companies, performing extensive work on device processing, characterization, testing, material characterization and packaging of semiconductor devices.I performed a widespread research and fabrication process to develop camera systems with state of the art capabilities for imaging, including novel material systems, novel photonic structures and optics (meta/flat optics) with new AI/ML algorithms and computational image processing.
