About Arash Beheshtian
With over 20 years of work experience in engineering consulting, I am passionate about applying my expertise in logistics, retail, and data analysis to solve complex problems and improve outcomes. As the founder of Altum Group Advisors, I lead a team of consultants who provide strategic, operational, and technical advice to clients in various sectors, including retail, supply chain, and logistics. I have successfully delivered multiple projects, such as optimizing the supply chain of Fortune 500 companies and designing data-driven frameworks for B&M and e-comm retailers. I also teach as an adjunct professor at Columbia University, where I share my knowledge and experience with graduate students in supply chain and risk management engineering. I have a Ph.D. in planning from Cornell University, and I have completed post-doctoral fellowships at MIT and Cornell, where I conducted research on transportation systems, logistics networks, and optimization models.
