ABOUT ARAS DIREKOGLU
I combine in-depth analytical skills acquired in my interdisciplinary bachelor\'s degree in social sciences with project-proven machine learning knowledge from my MSc in Data Science & Project Management.In my master\'s program in Data Science, I learned the statistical principles and technical skills to explore & analyze large datasets and to build and evaluate effective machine learning models. I worked in projects for classification and regression as well for image segmentation and text classification tasks. In my thesis, I am assessing the prediction power of neural network-based model for candidate generation in recommendation systems. In my working student job at Cosmonauts & Kings, I performed ETL processes for various data pipelines from different online marketing platforms in DBT and PostregSQL. I also developed dashboards in Tableau to make data available and understandable for internal & external stakeholders of the company. In my last project, I started the company’s first predictive performance marketing analytics product by building a machine learning model to predict future performance of individual ads.I can\'t stand stagnation, not for me, not for my projects. I prefer pragmatic iteration over perfect first implementation.
