ABOUT AR AKSHAY BANSAL

Most designers are taught how to design.Very few are taught how to survive, scale, or lead.I am Akshay Bansal, an architect and design entrepreneur working across architecture, interiors, and execution led practices. I lead multiple design focused ventures that operate at the intersection of design thinking, on-ground execution, and business decision making.Over the years, my work has spanned healthcare architecture, urban design, warehouses, retail infrastructure, offices, and premium residential projects. This exposure shaped a simple but critical understanding of the industry: good design alone does not build sustainable practices instead the system, execution, and clarity do.Today, I lead- Akorita India – Retail, commercial, and large scale execution projects Pan india - Home Interion – Residential design and interiors - Adcon Associates – Design consulting, strategy, and educationAcross these ventures, I have managed and delivered 1Mn+ sq. ft. of projects and worked with brands such as Lenskart, Aditya Birla, FirstCry, BigBasket, Blackberry, Zepto, and others.My work today focuses on helping clients and professionals navigate real world design challenges with structure and intent. This includes: Design and execution clarity across materials, MEP, and site realities Decision making frameworks for homeowners, founders, and businesses Consulting for startups and young professionals who are building design practices and need clarity beyond drawings Knowledge sharing and education for the design and construction community, based on real execution experienceAlongside practice, I have spent time in academics as an Assistant Professor, working closely with young architects. Those conversations reinforced a recurring gap in the industry that design education does prepare people to create, but rarely to survive, scale, or lead.I don’t believe in commissions.I believe in process, transparency, discipline, and long-term value creation for clients, teams, and the profession as a whole.My long-term focus is to document and share real, field-tested learnings that help designers build credible, sustainable careers beyond aesthetics.The goal is simple: to help designers build careers that last, earn trust, and command professional respect beyond visuals and signatures.If you believe design should work beyond drawings and visuals, let’s connect.🤝
