About Aradhya Verma

I’m a Computer Science and Mathematics student at UW–Madison with a strong interest in robotics, particularly in mechatronics. My focus areas include robotics design, control systems, and applied mathematics, supported by skills in CAD, 3D printing, and numerical linear algebra.I am a Community Service Officer for the Society of Women Engineers, where I organize events that give back to the community and foster collaboration, and I am also an active member of the Wisconsin Robotics Club. I’m motivated to continually build my skills to contribute to innovative work in robotics and mechatronics while growing as a leader and collaborator.

   Sep 2025 — Present

   Member of the Mechanical Engineering subteam for Wisconsin Robotics, contributing to the design of the rover chassis and swerve drive system. The project focuses on redesigning the chassis and swerve mounting system to address structural weaknesses, improve reliability, and streamline wire management. Work includes CAD modeling in Onshape, metals training, FEA analysis, and hands-on fabrication with a small team. The goal is to enhance durability, simplify connections, and improve overall performance of the rover.
