ABOUT ARADHNA ARORA

I am an MSc International Event Management student at the University of Surrey. Since moving to the UK, I have worked hard to immerse myself in the vibrant event industry, taking every opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different types of events.From coordinating the Starlight Soirée farewell gala to managing on-the-ground delivery as part of the Field & Info Teams at Elderflower Fields Festival, I thrive in dynamic environments where flexibility, teamwork, and real-time problem-solving are essential. This summer, I will be volunteering with Festival Republic at Latitude Festival, further deepening my understanding of live event operations.Alongside my event work, I have honed my customer service and communication skills through my part-time role as a waitress and bartender at Wayside Restaurant. Every role I take on teaches me something new about delivering exceptional experiences — whether for a single guest or a festival audience.One piece of advice that has stayed with me came from an event professional I met at a conference: “Before you choose your path in this industry, experience as many roles as you can — understand every aspect of what makes an event succeed.” Inspired by this, I am determined to explore every part of the event world — festivals, conferences, corporate events, operations, marketing, production — so that one day, when I contribute to major events, I will truly understand how every role adds value.I am known for being adaptable, a fast learner, and someone who enjoys solving problems on the spot — essential qualities in an industry where no two days are the same. Whether it’s supporting team members, handling guest queries, or finding quick solutions when challenges arise, I bring a positive, proactive mindset to every project.I am eager to contribute to a wide range of event projects — from live event operations and production to project coordination and guest experience — and I look forward to building a diverse skillset as I grow in this industry.Let’s connect — I’m always excited to collaborate, learn, and help bring exceptional events to life.
