Played a key role in the development of The Guardian’s latest mobile app, Feast. Developed mobile features (Swift/iOS), and set up internal tools, workflows (TypeScript, React, Redux, Scala) and infrastructure (AWS)- Collaborated closely with the internal Generative AI team, leverating an internal LLM model and ChatGPT for effective data structuring, resulting in enhanced search engine visibility and content organisation- Collaborated with UI/UX designers, product managers, scrum masters and business leads in an agile development environment, ensuring seamless communication and alignment for fast project delivery- Developed and maintained critical tools and content management systems ensure fast and accurate news delivery at the Guardian- Improved the editorial workflow by developing applications to replace manual processes- Helped build a server-side service to check data integrity of news stories and a serverless messaging and asset-sharing app using AWS Lambda- Implemented custom bash scripts to simplify user account management and secure data transfers- Developed interactive front-end components for the guardian website
