Contribute to system verification and validation planning, in particular concerning regulatory, compliance, and production readiness, including adherence to ISO-26262 standards for Functional Safety, SAE J2980 standards for Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) hazard classification, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS)- Document customer and stakeholder needs, and translate them into detailed technical requirements at the vehicle, system, and software level, using Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Polarion, PREEvision, CodeBeamer, and Helix- Author and execute test cases to validate the requirements using tools such CANalyzer, Integrated Calibration and Application Tool (INCA) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation- Create the definition and drive the change management of external system interfaces and communicate concepts and related development activity to all relevant stakeholders within the electric vehicle systems- Work collaboratively with the project team to define and select the most appropriate system architecture, including the selection of components, controller, hardware, and electrical harness architecture- Document details of architecture and design, with particular emphasis on target system behavior, such as behaviors of the propulsion, braking, steering, and charging systems- Assist the team with design and definition of internal interfaces within the boundaries of the system, by defining the communication between controllers, sensors, and actuators, using Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN), and discrete interfaces.
