As Deputy Manager, I am responsible for managing end-to-end operations in the Open Access power market, covering power scheduling, power trading, DSM management, and energy accounting for bilateral, captive, and exchange-based transactions.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with SLDCs, RLDCs, STUs, and DISCOMs for Open Access approvals, NOCs, and Standing Clearances.Manage end-to-end power scheduling for bilateral, captive, group captive, and power exchange (IEX/PXIL) transactions.Work closely with grid operators for schedule submission, revisions, and ensure full compliance with CERC/SERC regulations.Monitor and track Open Access charges such as transmission, wheeling, and losses; stay updated with regulatory changes.Identify and execute opportunities in Day Ahead Market (DAM), Real Time Market (RTM), and Term Ahead Market (TAM).Collect, validate, and reconcile energy meter data with SLDC/RLDC reports for accurate accounting.Prepare and verify invoices for Open Access and exchange-based power trades.Manage DSM charges, conduct deviation analysis, and ensure adherence to grid discipline and market regulations.Generate and circulate daily and monthly energy reports for internal management and commercial teams.
