About Cowper
Graduate student, social media manager, creative intern, & former Division I athlete. I’m passionate about education, storytelling, social media, & sports; I’m driven by relationships, creativity, learning, & personal growth. People & relationships are at the center of my \"why.\" Currently, I’m pursuing my M.A. in Sport Administration at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As part of the program (ranked second in the world!), I am a Lifetime Fitness instructor for three sections of undergraduate students & a member of the UNC Athletics event management staff. To get my creative & social media fix, I’m also a creative intern for the athletic department through Go Heels. In addition to my experiences at UNC, I am a social media manager for the NCAA Championships department. After a year as their postgraduate intern where I led the social strategy for four national championships & was a part of three others, I was brought back as a contractor to continue contributing to the social squad. Currently, I oversee NCAA Wrestling & NCAA Lacrosse & just wrapped up time spent with NCAA Soccer & FCS Football. Before my postgraduate internship at the NCAA, where I also worked as a social media specialist for the Indiana Pacers & Indiana Fever, I spent four years at Indiana University Bloomington earning a B.S. in Sport Marketing & Management & a minor in Coaching. In addition, I was a varsity student-athlete with Indiana Rowing & a social media & digital intern for IU Athletics at the Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media & Technology. Throughout my time at IU, I’ve also received creative opportunities with March Madness, Big Ten, Meta, & CBS Sports.
