ABOUT AQUAN ROBINSON
Growing up I was always in love with the mechanics of how any of my toys worked. As time went on I started to tear my toy cars apart and put them back together with new parts. This hobby of mechanics turned into a love for working on cars and project around the house. In middle school my father had lots of old BMW’s that sat in the driveway not running. I got bored one day and put sum time into one and it ran again. When I got to high school I took Auto-tech and ran an auto tech club that I was very good at. My football skills on the field were getting better along with my passion for the mechanics of cars and houses. Now that I’m in college I wanted a career that would never end, a career that no AI or robot could take over. I first wanted to major in Mechanical Engineering but with such a busy schedule with football, I chose to pursue project management in BCT(Building Construction Technology). This is my second semester for the core classes and I’m falling in love with building houses and I can definitely see a future in this field. I took an internship with the UMASS construction team and worked closely with 4 of the main project managers and got to really get the background of that job and what it takes. After that experience I know I want to take this degree very far and be the first and best project manager in my family.
