Modify, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve Webex Teams backend microservices using Java 9 and Akka streams. Designed, implemented, and owned calendar processing for Webex Teams interoperability handling meetings a day. Implemented new signal processing for in-call lobby feature with 100% test coverage using JUnit framework. Migrated multiple build pipelines from Jenkins to Kubernetes to improve robustness and agility of build pipeline. Implement encryption of all data stored at rest for internal debugging tools using Java, Cassandra, React for 100% GDPR compliance. Designed and implemented new internal API to standardize data from O365, Google, and Exchange APIs so users can find meeting times. Created a script to automate creation of change log using python and external APIs, freeing up 2-3 hours of managers time a week. Triage customer issues using Kibana logs and Grafana metrics and designed a dashboards to enable other developers to rapidly identify and resolve problems. Mentored and on-boarded 2 software engineer interns in our team to up-skill them on best engineering practices. Actively attend daily scrum meetings, design sessions, sprint reviews and gave multiple presentations to groups of 30+ people made up of principal engineers, software engineers and other leadership to communicate technical problems and solutions.
