About Apurva Tiwari
With a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Bhubaneswar, I am a Software Development Manager at Oracle, leading a team of developers in building and maintaining a resilient and scalable pipeline for cloud threat detection. I have a passion for delivering high-quality results and ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as a strong interest in cloud technologies, security, and threat detection.In my current role, I have been a core member and a subject matter expert of the CloudGuard feature, which detects security issues in customer\'s OCI configurations. I have developed various components and features for ingesting data from new sources, detecting abnormal user actions, and enabling service teams to partner with CloudGuard. I have also co-designed and implemented a platform for threat detection from scratch, using Java and Python as the main programming languages. Additionally, I have held multiple roles across both teams, including on-calls, release engineers, streaming apps SME, code reviewer, mentor, and interviewer. I have also received multiple honors and awards for my academic and professional achievements, such as the INSPIRE scholarship and the Best Table Tennis Player award.
