Enterprise IT Architect leading large-scale modernization programs of legacy platforms to cloud-native architectures, extensive Google Cloud/Azure experience plus foundational AWS exposure. I define current/planned/future-state target architectures and platform roadmaps across infrastructure, data, and enterprise integration domains, translating business drivers into standards and reference architectures, and regularly present/defend architecture decisions as a key contributor in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Technology Assembly. In my current role, I lead cloud-native modernization of legacy applications and integrations and establish a real-time enterprise event backbone via EI‑Kafka (Enterprise Integration–Kafka) by designing and governing a multi-cluster Confluent Kafka platform (security/RBAC, private connectivity, schema/contract governance, resiliency patterns) processing millions of events daily. I modernize file- and point‑to‑point integrations to event-driven patterns enabling near real-time order, inventory, pricing, and promotion event pipelines across OMS, inventory, pricing, and promotions services, and I operationalize governance artifacts including Schema Registry, versioning standards, and producer/consumer onboarding runbooks. I contribute to enterprise data enablement through enterprise data modeling and metadata structures (taxonomy, lineage, ownership) for streaming-fed analytics, and partner with stakeholders on technology evaluations across cloud and AI. Completed enterprise MCP strategy and currently designing MCP Gateway architecture and phased rollout alongside Vertex AI GenAI enablement with governance guardrails.
