Major initiatives:• E-commerce web site has sufficient capacity to handle Black Friday, Cyber Monday and holiday volumes• Database high availability solution explore and implementation to meet failover SLAs during peak• Network infrastructure redesign to ensure efficiencies in managing peak traffic• Applications supporting customer-facing and key internal systems are ready to support peak requirements• Storage and database systems have sufficient capacity to manage peak volumes• Store systems and infrastructure are ready to process peak transaction volumesLed a team of 100+ internal engineers, team managers, external consultants and vendor teams in the US and Canada. Teams were responsible for end to end upgrade of wired and wireless network infrastructure for 1,400 North American stores across all brands including:• Proof of Concept implementation of design options in innovation stores• Design and build of final solution for all store classifications• QA testing of network solution across all channels and brands• Logistics, staffing and installation of high speed circuits and network devices for in-store deployments• Cutover to production, network testing and dashboard validation• User Acceptance Testing with store managers • Decommission and disposal of legacy devices
