About April Sides

April has over a decade of experience with Drupal web development. Her journey has taken her from higher education and federal government roots to agency and big tech opportunities.Along the way, she\'s been involved in the Drupal community as lead organizer of Drupal Camp Asheville and a Drupal Community Working Group Community Support Team member. She often attends and speaks at Drupal events in North America and helps organize the Accessibility Talks virtual meetup.April is passionate about connecting people in the community as well as providing knowledge and resources for new developers to grow professionally and personally.Outside of work and volunteering, April enjoys collecting LEGO Harry Potter, watching Star Wars and Marvel media, and going on adventures with her step-grandchild.

   Led engineering team to create a Customer Portal \"Get Started\" landing page with learning path functionality and develop progress tracking for learning paths and implemented a new API for internal use.• Translated Customer Portal content using Drupal translation management core and modules.• Co-organized the Red Hat Drupal Developers Guild, an internal biweekly Drupal developer meetup.• Led the Customer Portal engineering team to maintain and improve the suite of platforms and apps.
