Provides support for comprehensive professional staff development approved by the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education. Plan, conduct and evaluate meetings and in-service activities for Business and Marketing Education, Family and Consumer Science Education, Agriculture Education, Technical and Professional Education, and Career Exploration Preparation and Development. Acts as a liaison with personnel between the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education, local education agencies and Dawson Service Cooperative. Communicate problems and needs for impending best practices, keep consortium schools informed of new developments and trends in Perkins Law and CTE, report useful information, write news articles, prepare website information and provide expertise in areas of CTE for distribution throughout the coop area and state. Write grant proposals for member schools, prepare and submit the annual budget and complete required reports for Arkansas Dept. of Workforce Education and the Arkansas State Department of Education. Complete end of the year reports summarizing activities into reports indicating numbers of schools involved and numbers of teachers taking part in Dawson Service Cooperative activities to promote Career and Technical Education.
