I am attending the University of Washington in order to become a social worker. My goal to serve as a social worker is to address the disparities in our society due to systemic racism and patriarchal norms. My dream is to become a clinician and work within the queer community as well as give support to those in palliative care. I bring transferrable skills from years of experience in the Restaurant & Food & Beverage industries, including expertise in managing staff, time management skills, and proven ability in managing all aspects of business operations including: staffing/hiring, training, scheduling, purchasing, cost control, P&L, food and labor controls, budgeting, and payroll.
