Provide strategic guidance to sales team on contract and proposal/SOW negotiation including pricing methodology, best software solution based on customers specific needs/restrictions and legal risks associated with deviations to standard terms.Developed and manage legal process to meet ever changing needs of the business including strategizing most efficient approach to meet the needs of 3 separate and very distinct business units.Work closely with commercial, sales and finance teams to develop a strategy to address customer with focus on creating win-win deal while still mitigating risksPrimary point of contact responsible for drafting and complex contract negotiations including strategic deals and all non standard contracts and assigning all other legal requests to other team members Document and maintain deal records including deal approval parameters, non standard legal and business terms, pricing structure, contract execution, purchase order processing and all other related information in SFDC.Streamlined proposal and contract negotiation process including creation of self service tools with acceptable alternative language and strategies to use in connection with non standard/complex deals Develop customized user guides periodically to better educate commercial and salesteams on significance of agreeing to non standard terms.Develop customized contract forms to better meet the specific needs of our customers.Work closely with finance team to ensure contracts, proposal and quotes meet bookability, SOX and revenue recognition requirements.Conduct quarterly contract and governance training for sales and commercial operation teams to ensure internal processes are understood and followed and to pass on key contract negotiation strategies/tips.
