For more than 18 years, I raised philanthropic support for materials and programs focused on Children\'s Literacy. We are giving our support to community organizations and students in under resourced communities in Sacramento County focused on helping kids read at grade-level. In this role, I lead \'Authors on the Move,\' Sacramento Premier Literacy Event, co-led the \'Walk 4 Literacy,\' Sacramento\'s Family Literacy Event and created and maintain the California Literacy Map which helps all of Sacramento understand exactly what kids are not reading at grade-level and where they cannot read at grade-level so that the community can intervene. I prepare and manage all financial aspects of the Foundation including monitoring the investment portfolio\'s asset allocation and working closely with accounting and investment advisors.
