Under her leadership, Aya expanded its reach to serve hundreds of new clients and executed multiple acquisitions, ultimately increasing distribution for over clinicians. She also pioneered the Aya Scholars Program—the industry’s first clinical ladder and recognition model for travel nurses—setting a new standard for clinical professional development.A fierce advocate for the voice of clinicians, April co-led an unprecedented qualitative research project, Mind the Gap: Repairing the US Healthcare Workforce, exploring the lived experiences of nurses during the pandemic.
