About April Davidson

April is a question connoisseur who has remained curious throughout her career journey. Her appetite for excitement led her to advertising. Currently, she works as an Account Executive at FCB New York on the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) account. On the FDA account, she keeps up to date with trends and information relevant to teen vaping and smoking to encourage and take part in conversations that lead to purposeful work. Her goal is to understand the target demographic and ensure that they are considered in every part of the creative process. When April first began her position at FCB she had not completed her bachelor\'s degree but, 3 months into her time there she received a B.S. in Marketing Management with a concentration in Advertising Communication and a minor in Graphic Communication. April’s participation in the MAIP (Multicultural Advertising Intern Program) opened the doors for her at FCB. As a MAIPer, she interned for Merkley and Partners. There, she led her team to win the summer pitch competition held by Merkley. However, that wasn’t her only triumph. April was also an integral member of the winning team for the MAIP x Digitas pitch competition. Outside of her professional career, April spends her time volunteering for the Dinner table Documentary where she helps to plan events and programs centering young women of color.
