    Reproducibility For Everyone

    Jan 2018 — Present · Brooklyn, US

Reproducibility for Everyone is a volunteer-led collaboration that aims to bring introductory workshops on reproducible tools and methods to scientific conferences. By focussing on conferences, our workshops reach a greater and more diverse audience than workshops run at universities, and over 80% of workshop participants plan to adopt a reproducible method or tool following the workshop.* I joined Lenny Teytelman of Protocols.io to organize our pilot R4E workshop at Caltech, and since we have coordinated a growing group of collaborators to run workshops, webinars, curate educational resources, and create an online hub for reusable reproducibility materials for anyone to contribute to or use to run their own workshop.* Our R4E online hub contains modular educational material, an instructor guide, a contribution guide, as well as news and reference resources. By coordinating with aligned organizations, pooling resources, and delegation based on skills and interests, we have been able to grow to over 30 volunteers and have run over 10 workshops.
