About April Brown

I attended Austin Community College in 2009 and not only received multiple certificates but an Associates in Applied Science with a specialization in Code Technical Welding. I became a welder after graduation and was involved in multiple different welding industries from structural, custom fabrication, and expansion joints. I then went on to get my AWS CWI and CWE in May of 2016. My first welding inspector job was manufacturing of GE wind towers, I was then promoted from inspector to the quality supervisor. I needed to further my career and knowledge and got involved in the oil and gas manufacturing industry. I have been in shop settings and third party contract inspector for large companies such as EOG and Pioneer. I have been doing third party document control, visual inspection on all vessels and tanks to ensure the product is to customer specs and code, also ensuring the coating and paint is to NACE standards and all components are accurate before shipment. You will find I am a loyal, quick learner, and hard working employee wanting to further my career and education in the industry.
