ABOUT APRIL ANDERSON
April Anderson received her masters degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. She has experience working with children with a variety of speech and language disorders, although has developed a special interest in children with feeding disorders. April has worked with children of all ages with various degrees of feeding difficulties and is a Certified Lactation Counselor. April conducts individual speech, language, oral motor, and feeding therapy with children. She has previous experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, the public school system, private facilities, and language preschools. She currently works with the DC Early Intervention Program, the Breastfeeding Center of Greater Washington, and sees clients privately through her company, April Anderson Therapy, LLC.
