Experience

  1. Senior Human Resources Business Partner

    Torc Robotics

    Jul 2023 — Present

Torc Robotics is a technology leader in autonomous vehicle systems, focused on developing and commercializing self-driving freight solutions. As a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, Torc works with industry partners to build safe, reliable, and scalable autonomous trucking technology for commercial long-haul operations.I serve as a Senior HR Business Partner supporting three executive leaders and their organizations, partnering across a distributed workforce of more than 150 employees spanning multiple U.S. states, California, and Canada. My role centers on helping leaders navigate complex people decisions in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment where systems, expectations, and operating models continue to evolve.I am frequently engaged in high-risk and high-impact matters, including complex employee investigations, performance and conduct issues, and workforce planning decisions. A core focus of my work is building clarity where ambiguity exists — helping leaders understand decision rights, guardrails, and risk tradeoffs so issues are addressed early and defensibly rather than reactively. I also partnered in the development of a disciplinary action framework to improve consistency, escalation standards, and confidence in performance-related decisions. Across all engagements, I translate policy and compliance requirements into practical guidance leaders can apply in real time, bringing calm, structure, and credibility to high-stakes situations.
