   In the role of the Business Program Manager, I am responsible for project integration within RTD’s Capital Programs department. I provide leadership, direction, and coordination of all projects and serve as the point person for an interdepartmental multidisciplinary team of highly qualified and motivational professionals. Active Collaboration and Teamwork are big parts of my job. My major responsibilities include: • Concurrently manage multi-disciplinary, time-sensitive, high-complexity projects, in a fast-paced environment to meet the objectives of the Strategic Plan and Capital Programs commitments. Projects include managing design consultants and construction contracts, and tracking/documenting required tasks performed on time and within budget to meet the project commitments. • Facilitate with all the Capital Programs functional leads to assess staff and skillsets required, develop position descriptions and justification memos, and recruit staff that includes interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, and coaching. • Manages, conducts, executes, champions, and directs staff in developing design and construction documents, cost estimates, specifications, and bid packages. Administer multiple procurements and conduct contract management. • Lead Capital Programs IGA\'s development efforts and negotiates with jurisdictions in obtaining permits and identifying roles and responsibilities. • Ensure project managers maintain the development schedules, and coordinate the internal processes with finance, procurement, legal, RTD leadership team, and AGM. • Provide cross-functional program support and ensure effective interface and integration of activities with other organization units. • Partner with the RTD Safety group in developing agency safety plans, reviewing, and addressing safety concerns, and preparing corrective action plans for regulatory compliance.
