Earned 1st place in acceleration, autocross, and skidpad tests, demonstrating high-level vehicle dynamics and control. Successfully completed the endurance test, leading to an overall 4th place finish at the 2024 Formula SAE Electric competition.• Redesigned and improved Rear Wing and Front Wing for electric racing car using CATIA CAD software and running the designs through the PACE Phoenix cluster for CFD analyses in Ansys EnSight• Using Ansys CFD to improve aero stability and consistency in performance across angular and translational changes with UnderTray of electric car• Ran CFD simulations using ANSYS for the addition of whiskers and onto the nose of the car• Expanding experimental toolkit with pressure sensors, flow-vis paint, pitot tubes, and aero rakes• Gained hands-on expertise with precise machining of composites and rigorous testing, using wet layup and resin infusion techniques to create carbon fiber components• Contributed to the iterative design process by refining mechanical systems based on testing feedback.
