I currently work as a Booking Producer for MSNBC’s new morning show \'The Weekend\', which is hosted by Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders-Townsend and Michael Steele, and is live on Saturdays and Sundays from 8-10am ET. I am a native New Yorker, and a graduate of Syracuse University\'s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a B.S. in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and a minor in Psychology. I have worked all across the media and entertainment industries from working as an MMJ in a Top 100 market to working red carpets and awards shows to producing viral social media content. I love being in front of the camera, telling stories and pop culture, and I am also comfortable with all aspects of production - shooting, editing, writing, etc.

   Pitch, book and manage a wide variety of guests - lawmakers, government officials, journalists, celebrities and other newsmakers - for live, pre-taped and breaking news coverage + Collaborate cross-functionally with PR firms, book publishers, talent management and others to maintain a planning calendar to manage future programming and appearances + Conduct pre-interviews for new talent, as well as eyewitnesses in breaking news situations + Manage guest appearances both virtually and in-person, including checking in to the control room, arranging transportation, etc.+ Manage and run show social media account, clipping and tweeting guest responses while live on air for viewer engagement, while simultaneously managing guests appearing on-air + Engage with viewers and guests on show\'s Twitter account, both during the show and all throughout the week to keep engagement up
