About Apoorva Rathore
I am an investor at Green Frontier Capital, where I focus on climate technology across mobility, energy, circularity, and adjacent sectors. My work centers on partnering with founders who are building scalable, commercially grounded solutions to large, system-level climate challenges. I am particularly interested in businesses that combine strong technical insight with a clear understanding of incentives, markets, and execution, especially in sectors shaped by regulation, supply chains, and global power dynamics.Prior to venture, I was a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, advising investors and operators on commercial due diligence and strategic pivots, primarily within the education sector. I also worked closely with governments and regulators to help shape long-term sector priorities in response to evolving economic and workforce needs. During this time, I worked on L.E.K.’s perspectives around AI x Education, helping build this body of work from first principles.My thinking is deeply influenced by economics, human history, literature, and foreign policy. Studying how societies evolve, how incentives shape behavior, and how geopolitical forces influence markets has strongly helped me evaluate businesses. I believe that targeted, patient capital, when aligned with ambitious operators and clear problem framing can be a powerful force in transforming industries and creating long-term value.I enjoy exploring how different fields intersect, from the logic of markets to the creativity of literature, and how these connections can help one become better decision-makers.
