About Apoorva Parikh
Investment Banking professional with an MBA in finance from NMIMS (Mumbai) and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, I have been in finance industry for c.7 years. I have also cleared all levels of CFA exam. My experience spans across diverse financing solutions - from credit risk modeling to infrastructure financing and structured equity solutions- Currently, at HSBC’s Strategic Equity and Financing team, I work on advising EMEA based clients on equity-linked instruments such as convertible bonds, share buybacks and complex derivatives such as collar, put spread etc. In late 2022, I also had a 3-month stint at HSBC’s London office, enhancing my exposure to equity markets in a global financial hub- Prior to this, I was a part of Infrastructure financing team (Canada) where I supported clients for RFP / bid submissions for large scale transportation projects (rail, transit, tunnel etc.) acting as Financial Advisor, Lead Arranger and Bond Underwriter- I began my career at HDFC Bank, Mumbai where I focused on credit risk models (PD & LGD) used in regulatory capital computation.
