A versatile IT professional with considerable experience leading deliveries and designing large technical IT infrastructure projects both in the UK and overseas. Specialising in Microsoft Azure Cloud, with a deep understanding of cloud principles, governance, security and design. Aligning business needs to enable successful adoption of cloud technologies gaining competitive advantage through innovation, cost effectiveness and agility.Key Achievements & Experience• Lead architect for the design and devops build of the National Police Capabilities Environment to provide a secure Azure based hosting platform for national policing IT solutions.• Successfully designed and led delivery of resilient Azure Cloud landing zone for Thames Valley Police, Hampshire Constabulary, Surrey, and Sussex police forces and defining the design standards, governance and security model enabling them to confidently progress with their Cloud First strategy.• Successfully led technical team to design and implement Azure Cloud infrastructures for Thames Valley Police and Hampshire Constabulary’s new joint contact management and command and control system.• NPIRMT used my Azure Cloud Governance and Security framework as a basis to test and accredit the Contact Management Platform in readiness for its connection to the PSN.• When asked to review the Azure Cloud designs for the Thames Valley Police & Hampshire Constabulary Contact Management Platform, I was able to make annual cost savings in excess of £600k per year without any loss of functionality to the solution.• As part of a €100m managed services contract for the European Space Agency, I successfully led the project implementation and technical governance of designs of new IT infrastructure and IT services for 4500 users in 15 sites across 10 countries.• For a Serco global Active Directory domain consolidation project, I was responsible for managing the migration of over 60 domains, users and their computers and over 150 servers. • Prince2 qualified Practitioner, with an excellent understanding of business and a very wide range of IT technologies, allowing me to communicate effectively with technical, non-technical, internal staff, customers and suppliers alike.• Responsible for successfully managing the preparations for my departments in attainment of the company\'s ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation.
