I’m a senior consultant, and I lead the biggest projects Innovia does, to solve the hardest problems our clients face. Those problems range from solving specific scientific and technical problems, through taking advantage of broad opportunities with many uncertainties, to helping our clients set their innovation strategies.I have led projects for companies such as Shell, P&G, Kraft Heinz, BASF, GE Healthcare, and VF Corporation.Some of my personal highlights include:• Using fundamental science to help food companies remove artificial colours from their products.• Developing a new-to-world dye molecule to allow a much simpler, more sustainable dyeing process.• Leading a project to understand customer behaviour in luxury retail stores and propose how to redesign the stores to improve customer experience.• Creating new additives to improve the efficiency of petrol and diesel fuels.• Helping Smartwool understand the physiology of heating, cooling, and sweating in order to design better socks and apparel.(I’m one of the models in the thermographic images in the case study!)• Creating new thickeners for lubricating greases for Shell.
