As Deputy Director for the Washington State Board of Health, I help guide statewide public health governance, strategic planning, and cross-agency collaboration to strengthen health systems and improve outcomes for Washington communities.In this role, I work across government, community partners, and Tribal Nations to support the Board’s policy development and organizational priorities. My work includes advancing equity-centered public health policy, strengthening internal systems and performance management, and fostering collaborative partnerships that improve the effectiveness of statewide public health efforts.My career began in emergency response and behavioral health services, experiences that continue to shape my approach to public health policy and systems leadership. I am focused on building strong partnerships across agencies, Tribal Nations, and communities to ensure public health systems are responsive, inclusive, and effective.
