About Amanda Reill
I write, speak, coach, and ghostwrite about who we are and who we are becoming.I love to partner with folks who are trying to do good in the world. I believe that together, we will build the world we want to live in. Please reach out if you\'d like to collaborate on a writing project, discuss 1:1 life coaching, or plan a retreat.Interested in joining the Aspiring Wise Old Woman Collective?Visit and RSVP for the pilot launching June 1, 2025.One day a week, you commit to growing into the woman you’d like to become. Your month looks like this:Week 1: Meet 1:1 with me for individual coachingWeek 2: Meet virtually for group coaching with me and a consistent group of 4-6 women who are sharing this journeyWeek 3: Meet virtually with those same women to discuss a book around an aspiring wise old woman topicWeek 4: Reserve time to be alone and do something creative or brave. Something that stretches you or fills your cup.We will stay in touch with our small groups throughout the week, knowing that our partners and our coach are only a text away. This monthly rhythm allows us to target specific areas to receive coaching in, develop meaningful relationships with other women who are tired of worrying about the wrong shit, and keep pushing the envelope of our bravery. We learn to be together and we learn to be alone. We value both as critically important. What is an aspiring wise old woman?A wise old woman is confident. She’s humble. She makes decisions to the best of her ability, then she lets them go. She has a healthy relationship with both fear and failure. She doesn’t rush. She knows what she’s good at, and isn’t threatened by anyone else’s skills or talents. She loves well, she grieves well, and she apologizes well. She’s content with just enough. She laughs a lot. She’s constantly surprised by the miracle of life around her, and rarely surprised by pain and suffering. She knows that life comes in both seasons and chapters, and that patience must be our constant companion. Her primary career goal is to give the best of what she has without borrowing from her health. She has time to be curious. She acknowledges that all of life is a work in progress. She values balance over wealth. She gets angry at injustice, and she fights to protect the innocent. She recognizes beauty when she sees it. She sees that beauty in the mirror. This is us. We are that woman.
