ABOUT APARNA PACKER
I am a student at Brandeis University with strong interests in sustainable community development, health, human rights, and justice across movements. My academic interests involve using anthropological literature and thought to understand these issues. I am extremely passionate about women’s rights and economic empowerment through education and the intersectional barriers and solutions to this, and I have taken coursework, have work and volunteer experience, and have completed research in this area. I am looking for any opportunities to contribute to equality/equity, environmental/sustainability, and health-focused work. I also have previous experience in childcare and am interested in opportunities to explore fields in that area, such as speech-language pathology, cognitive and developmental psychology, and teaching.
