I am a graduate in MS in Supply Chain and Operations Management from University of Illinois at Chicago. Growing up in a steel city in India, I was fascinated by watching truckloads of raw materials on roads and wondered where these come from and how the operations would be in the steel plant. I started my journey in the supply chain after my undergrad by working in a warehouse of books, managing a team, and handling on-time deliveries. This role enhanced my team- management, problem-solving and analytical skills. After a year of experience at the ground level, I got an opportunity to work at an MNC in Bangalore. I was a single point of contact for the client and vendors for the end-to-end supply chain starting from supplier selection to order management, expediting, and invoicing. Within a few months of joining, I successfully implemented modifications in the expediting process reducing the gap between the suppliers and the customer and improving customer service. For which I received an Appreciation Award for understanding the customer needs and smoothening the process. My knowledge of finance by working in Oracle India for about a year is a plus point. Coming from an Engineering background and having Hands-on experience in Advance Excel, SAP MM, Tableau, SQL, and Oracle ERP makes me a technically sound candidate. Currently, I am working as Senior Education Architect in o9 solutions. This job excites me the most as its a combo of Education + Supply Chain and I have equal love for both of them. When it comes to extra-curricular activities, I am a certified Kathak Dancer which shows that I am expressive. My stage performances have given me the confidence to present in front of a crowd enhancing my presentation skills. I am also a participant of the Rotary Short-term exchange program, a 20 day cultural and tour camp in Taiwan. I am a fun-loving, easy-to-go person.
